Family Resources
If you or someone you know needs food support, we’re here to help! We’ve partnered with the District 10 Community Market to provide FREE food services in the Bayview-Hunters Point and Potrero areas. Families can shop once a month and receive up to 65 lbs of food!
**Eligibility Criteria:** - Reside in District 10 (94124, 94134, or 94107) - Have children ages 0-24 in the household - Receive some form of public assistance Questions?

Our Annual Family Day BBQ at AMU is more than a gathering; it's a heartfelt manifestation of our unity, inspired by our late founder Taupolo “Jaytee” Mauia’s brave fight against stomach cancer. This event has blossomed into a symbol of community strength, honoring JayTee's generous spirit and his commitment to making a difference in the lives of families. This event shines a light on the unique struggles of underrepresented communities in San Francisco and across the Bay. In our journey to uplift the people, we've joined hands with local organizations and enterprises, promising a wide-range of free services and resources at our event. From health check-ups by medical professionals to mental health counseling, we're dedicated to tending to our community's needs through a holistic approach. Our event is a time for joy, delicious food, school supplies, haircuts, cultural performances that celebrate diversity, and fun-filled activities for all. This event comes at no cost to our community and is a gift from AMU to you.

Equally, we are dedicated to teaching our families how to prepare nutritious meals without breaking the bank.
