Founded in 2015, All My Usos (AMU) has spent the last decade serving over 10,000 families in the San Francisco Bay Area through health, leadership development, and community-building initiatives. We have developed deep, trusting relationships with families, community organizations, and local agencies.
At All My Usos (AMU), we believe in the power of community to heal, uplift, and create lasting change. Our programs address critical health, economic, and educational disparities that impact Pacific Islander families, providing resources, hope, and culturally rooted support. Whether it’s mentorship for youth, grief counseling for families, or nutrition programs that improve health outcomes, every initiative is designed to empower our people and strengthen our collective future.
We invest in youth leadership and financial literacy through PACIFIC (Pacific Islanders Advancing Creating, Innovation, and Financial Independent Course), equipping the next generation with the tools to thrive academically and economically. Programs like OLAGA (Opportunities To Live and Grow For Our Aiga) and our Community Health Workers initiative focus on nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and healthcare access, ensuring our people receive the culturally competent care they deserve. Malaga (Journey) Through Healing, Ribbon of HOPE, and Ray of LIGHT provide compassionate support for families facing grief, cancer, and loss, reminding them that they are never alone.
Through Holiday Mealofa (Gift) Box Distributions and Family Day Trips, we cultivate joy, cultural pride, and a deep sense of belonging. Our community blood drives bring life-saving healthcare to underrepresented areas, while our mentorship and leadership training programs prepare the next generation to lead with confidence and purpose.
In the Bay Area, Pacific Islanders are a young and vibrant community, yet they face significant barriers that limit opportunities for growth and well-being. The data is clear—Pacific Islander communities need better health and education outcomes. Only 20.3% hold a bachelor’s degree in the San Francisco Bay Area, compared to 47.7% regionally, due to a lack of targeted support and resources.
In healthcare, Pacific Islanders experience higher rates of chronic illness, limited access to culturally competent care, and language barriers that prevent them from receiving critical services and care. With less than 1% representation in San Francisco’s Health Service workforce, our communities are further disconnected from the care they need. We do this work to change these outcomes—because our community deserve access and the opportunity to thrive.
Since our founding in 2015, AMU has served over 10,000 families, providing culturally responsive programs that strengthen health, education, and economic opportunity. Our work has directly contributed to:
At AMU, we do more than provide services—we restore hope, rebuild confidence, and lift each other up.
