Community Building

We believe in the power of community to create substantial, positive change. Our events and initiatives bring people together and celebrate our shared culture.

  • Annual Family Day BBQ: A joyous event that provides free health services, school supplies, haircuts, cultural performances, and resources to the community, all in honor of our late founder, Taupolo "Jaytee" Mauia.
  • Family Day Trips: These outings foster connections, allowing families to build relationships and create lasting memories in a safe and fun environment.
  • Holiday Mealofa (Gift) Box Distribution: We partner with community members to provide culturally relevant holiday meals and share resources on mental health and healthy cooking.

Health & Healing

We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community, focusing on prevention, education, and compassionate care.

  • Mental Health Therapy: At the core of our program is a deep devotion to supporting families as they navigate the challenging journey of grief and loss. We provide a safe, nurturing space for healing through creativity and compassion, ensuring every family knows they are not alone.
  • Community Health Workers: Our team of seven dedicated community health workers provides empathetic, culturally sensitive support to help families navigate health resources and address their specific needs.
  • OLAGA - Nutrition Services: We raise awareness about nutrition and physical health to combat chronic illnesses. Our programs offer peer support groups, diabetes management tools, and healthy cooking classes.
  • Community Blood Drives: We host regular blood drives to address a critical need in underrepresented communities and provide on-site health resources and information.

Family & Youth Resources

We empower families and the next generation with the tools they need to succeed and grow.

  • PACIFIC - Youth Program: We introduce Pacific Islander youth to financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurship, empowering them with the confidence to succeed academically and professionally.
  • Fa'amalosi "Be Strengthened/Encouraged": This program teaches Pacific Islander youth about the critical importance of mental health and physical fitness, providing a secure environment and valuable resources for their well-being.
  • D10 Community Market: We've partnered with the District 10 Community Market to provide free, healthy food services to families in the Bayview-Hunters Point and Potrero areas, helping to combat food insecurity.
