Our Story
AMU was born from the vision of our late founder, Jaytee Mauia, whose dream was to bring the community together, rebuild relationships, and restore unity across San Francisco. As he courageously battled stomach cancer, Jaytee was driven by a deep belief in the value of life, the strength of brotherhood, and the power of community.
Alongside his usos (the Samoan word for “brother”) Jaytee founded All My Usos in 2015 to invest in the community and set a positive example for future generations. His leadership and heart laid the foundation for a movement rooted in service, love, and collective responsibility.
The community suffered a profound loss when Jaytee passed away in 2018. However, his vision did not end with his passing. The work continues in his honor.
For more than a decade, All My Usos has empowered over 10,000 families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We have built deep, trusting relationships with families, community-based organizations, and local agencies to address critical health, economic, and educational disparities impacting the Pacific Islander community.
We believe in the power of community to heal, uplift, and create lasting change—and we carry Jaytee’s legacy forward every day.
Meet Our Team
In Honor of our Founder Jaytee Mauia
Born and raised in San Francisco's Hunter's Point, Jaytee was a beloved community volunteer who went on to work for the San Francisco Housing Authority. Known for his generosity and joyful spirit, he founded All My Usos with his fellow "usos" (brothers) during his battle with cancer.

Our culturally rooted programs are designed to provide resources, hope, and support for our people.
Why This Work Matters
Pacific Islanders are a young and vibrant community in the Bay Area, but they face significant systemic barriers.
We exist to change these outcomes. Our community deserves access and the opportunity to thrive.
Programs That Empower Our Community
Our programs are built on the principles of cultural understanding, compassion, and empowerment. Each initiative is designed to meet the unique needs of our families and uplift the entire community.
